Meet The Founder
Maritza Baca

Maritza Baca is the President & CEO of Monarch Marketing Group, LLC an Interactive Marketing agency specializing in social media and digital marketing, grassroots marketing and community outreach. A graduate from UCLA, Maritza has more than 20 years of marketing experience and has worked for top brands like McDonald’s, Univision, Chevrolet and Grocery Outlet.

Her agency manages social media accounts for various grocery stores, restaurants and businesses across California, Washington and Oregon. She is also a social media marketing instructor for NEW (New Economics for Women), an organization that advocates for women, minority and small business owners in the U.S. and Canada.

Maritza is a second-generation Latina with Mexican-American, Guatemalan and New Mexico roots. She lives in Simi Valley and enjoys jogging/exercise, trying new foods at local eateries and watching her son play baseball.

Ana Cubas

Public Affairs Partner

Ana Cubas has over 20 years of experience working on public and private sector projects in community outreach, sustainability/environmental documentation, urban planning (including historic property surveys), education, transportation, and public policy issues and programs at the Federal, State, and local government levels. She partnered with Monarch Marketing in 2021 to offer community outreach and public affairs services for their roster of clients.

After completing her MBA at USC in 2016, Ana founded ANA CUBAS CONSULTING, LLC dba Mariposa Consulting as a woman- and a minority-owned company. Ana Cubas guides the firm’s strategic projects and client base as its sole officer. The firm is located in Echo Park, near downtown Los Angeles. The firm is certified by the City of Los Angeles, the California Public Utilities Commission, LA Metro, and LA County, among others.

Ana is fluent in Spanish, comes from a humble immigrant background, and is the first in her family to graduate from college. She continues to play a leadership role in Los Angeles and California, as a Board Member of the statewide California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. She is the Founder and President of The Latina Public Service Academy, a local non-profit that develops the leadership skills of Latina high school students. She was appointed in October 2016 by Governor Gavin Newsom to the California Law Revision Commission.

Betsy Nemeroff

Social Media Director

Betsy Nemeroff joined Monarch Marketing in 2021. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, she moved to LA to attend college at USC where she majored in Communication. She’s been working in social media marketing for 15 years, specializing in food and restaurants!  She lives in Orange County with her husband, 2.5 year old daughter, 3 month old son, and 2 dogs, and loves the beach, trying new recipes, and all things social media!

In her role as Social Media Manager, she leverages her expertise to drive brand engagement and amplify online presence. Justine’s passion for pop culture and her keen eye for visual trends—ranging from fashion to music—fuel her innovative approach to branding. When she’s not shaping digital strategies, she’s pursuing her love for storytelling through her work as a wedding photographer and videographer on the weekends. Justine resides in the beautiful Orange County with her husband and their adorable pug, Milo, Justine seamlessly blends her professional acumen with her creative interests, bringing a unique perspective to her role at Monarch Marketing.

Ruby Alcoser has been a Social Media Manager at Monarch Marketing for over 4 years now. She has 7 years of Social Media Management and Influencer Marketing experience along with a Bachelor of Science degree from The Art Institute of California – Hollywood. She has a background in fashion, beauty, and entertainment marketing. Her hobbies include shopping and being a tourist in her own city.
